This study, Campden Wealth’s first research project in Latin America, provides insight into family business executives’ perceptions of the main risks in the region. It examines their most important priorities, and the investment and management practices being implemented, while presenting actionable ideas for those wishing to service them.

45 UHNW family business executives domiciled in Argentina, Brazil, Chile, Mexico and Venezuela were surveyed between July and November 2015. They represent over USD1.5bn in personal wealth and USD3.1bn of 2014 business revenue. To add context to the quantitative component of the study, 12 in-depth qualitative interviews with Latin American business executives, professionals, experts, entrepreneurs, and family business consultants were conducted.
